With the NEO 8 IP Black, WORK offers a wider version of its weatherproof wall-mounted series, designed for installations where the coverage area requires slightly higher sound density without resorting to high-power systems. The ABS enclosure, combined with an aluminium grille and IP65 certification, allows for use outdoors or in environments exposed to humidity, changing weather conditions or water splashes.

The system is based on a two-way design incorporating an 8-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter. This configuration extends the response at the lower end of the spectrum compared to the 6.5-inch version, whilst maintaining clear reproduction of high frequencies. The sensitivity of 93 dB and maximum SPL of 111 dB make it suitable for use in more open areas or those requiring higher sound pressure levels.

Like the rest of the NEO IP series, this model operates equally well at low impedance (8 ohms) and in 70/100 V installations. The various taps on the internal transformer allow the power to be adjusted to suit the site’s requirements. At 8 ohms, the signal is processed directly without passing through the transformer in order to preserve audio quality. The included mounting system allows for wall-mounted installation with two-axis orientation, making it easy to align the speaker towards the listening area without the need for additional accessories.
