The WORK PULSE DRIVE 1002 amplifier combines high-performance Class D amplification with a full-featured DSP processor. Housed in a 19-inch rack-mount chassis measuring just 1U, it delivers up to 2 x 500 W into 4 Ω whilst offering excellent energy efficiency and low heat dissipation.

Its power output enables it to efficiently drive main PA speakers, monitor systems or fixed installations in multi-purpose halls, auditoriums, event venues, places of worship or commercial premises. For applications requiring more power on a single output, Bridge mode allows the two channels to be combined to achieve 1000 W of power, ideal for driving a subwoofer or a high-capacity loudspeaker.

The built-in DSP offers real added value by allowing the behaviour of each channel to be precisely tailored. Each channel features an eight-band parametric equaliser, high-pass and low-pass filters, a compressor and a noise gate. These tools make it easy to adjust the system directly within the amplifier, without the need for an external processor, whilst optimising the speakers’ response to their installation environment.

Control is carried out from a computer via dedicated software and an Ethernet connection using the UDP protocol. This interface simplifies remote configuration, monitoring and adjustments, particularly when several amplifiers are installed within the same audio system.

To ensure reliable long-term operation, the PULSE DRIVE 1002 incorporates several protection mechanisms against overheating, short circuits, overloads and switching noise when powering on or off. These safety features help to protect both the internal electronics and the connected loudspeakers.
