Work - SN8 Black

The WORK SN8 Black is designed for sound reinforcement projects where architectural constraints require a suspended installation. Its suspended design optimises sound coverage in buildings with high ceilings whilst minimising reverberation, which often impairs the intelligibility of speech and the quality of music reproduction.

Its 2-way coaxial design features an 8-inch woofer with a 2-inch voice coil, paired with a 1-inch compression driver. This design ensures consistent sound reproduction across the frequency spectrum and guarantees excellent speech intelligibility whilst maintaining a balanced and dynamic musical performance.

With a power rating of 200 W RMS, a sensitivity of 95 dB and a maximum SPL of 123 dB, the SN8 Black has ample headroom to effectively cover large spaces. Its 90° x 90° coverage pattern promotes even sound distribution and reduces the number of speakers required in certain set-ups.

Dual compatibility with 8 Ω low impedance and 70/100 V line circuits facilitates its integration into a wide variety of professional audio systems. It can therefore be used in both distributed public address installations and systems dedicated to music playback.

The cabinet is made from high-quality fibreglass moulded in a single piece. This design, with no visible screws, provides a particularly neat finish whilst offering excellent mechanical strength. The metal grille, with internal protective foam, effectively shields the components from dust and splashes.
