Whether it’s a stadium, a leisure park, a covered terrace or a sports complex, certain venues present challenges that a traditional sound system cannot always meet. The WORK ARENA 8 CX has been designed to meet this challenge by combining acoustic performance, installation versatility and resistance to harsh environments.

Its 8-inch coaxial driver, combined with a compression driver, delivers bass, midrange and treble from a single acoustic axis. This design ensures excellent sound coherence across the entire 110° coverage area, whilst delivering precise vocal reproduction and a balanced musical performance. With a sensitivity of 100 dB and a maximum sound pressure level of 128 dB SPL, the ARENA 8 CX has the necessary headroom to effectively sound out large spaces.

This loudspeaker also offers great design flexibility for system integrators. It can operate at low impedance (below 8 ohms) for high-power installations, but can also be integrated directly into a 70- or 100-volt distribution network thanks to its built-in transformer. The various power settings make it easy to adapt each loudspeaker to the specific requirements of the project, whether for background music or public address announcements.

Robustness is an integral part of its design. The weather-resistant polyvinyl enclosure, the corrosion-protected aluminium grille, the moisture-sealed crossover and the waterproof connector all contribute to the system’s reliability during daily outdoor use. Complemented by a U-bracket for easy installation and positioning, the WORK ARENA 8 CX offers a durable solution for any installation where performance must remain consistent, season after season.
