Touches covered with ebony and synthetic ivory, to play intensely: our fingers are much more sensitive than we imagine, and for the pianists, the texture of the keys is of paramount importance. The white keys are covered with synthetic ivory of excellent quality, developed by Yamaha. The blacks, on the other hand, feature a synthetic ebony finish. The synthetic ivory reproduces the tactile sensations of the keys formerly made of ivory on the old pianos. This coating offers a soft, slightly porous surface and is highly absorbent, thus avoiding fingers sliding on the keyboard after long hours of use. The result of more than a century of experience in the manufacture of acoustic pianos, mastery of this exclusive Yamaha material, gives the instrument a perfect touch and visual finish, giving the pianist immediate pleasure. Exhaust mechanism: The exhaust mechanism on a grand piano releases the hammers from the rest of the mechanics, so that they can bounce away from the strings after they have been struck, in order to avoid any interference with The vibration of these.
