The Yamaha HS8SG loudspeaker stands out as a top choice for sound professionals. This 8-inch active studio loudspeaker is a 2-way bi-amplified proximity monitor with Bass-Reflex, designed to offer exceptional sonic precision.

The heart of this monitor lies in its drivers: an 8-inch conical woofer and a 1-inch dome tweeter. These elements guarantee a wide sound range and remarkable frequency response. With a total output power of 120 W, divided between the woofer (75 W) and the tweeter (45 W), the HS8SG excels in reproducing every sonic detail.

The Room Control and High Trim functions enable the sound to be fine-tuned to the acoustics of the room. Whether in a home studio or a professional mixing room, these settings ensure total adaptability.

The Bass-Reflex MDF baffle, combined with anti-resonance cabinetry (down to the joints and vents), guarantees distortion-free listening with no coloration of the sound.

Designed without magnetic shielding, this technical choice means that the magnets are more efficient, delivering better sound dynamics. This monitor is also distinguished by its limited edition Space Grey finish, adding a touch of elegance to its impressive technical performance.

The speaker is equipped with parallel input connectors, including a balanced XLR3-31 and PHONE. Various controls, such as LEVEL, HIGH TRIM and ROOM CONTROL, give you total control over sound quality.

Note that the price is quoted for one room, so you can configure your sound space to suit your needs.

Yamaha has always believed that artists should be able to create their own sound, and that's been our philosophy since we designed our first studio loudspeakers.

From the legendary NS-10M to today's HS series, Yamaha has sought to avoid any coloration or alteration of the original sound signal. A reference series throughout the world since the first generation, the models in the HS range feature a large tweeter
1'' tweeter on all models, providing remarkable precision in the high frequencies and a welcome smoothness during long listening sessions.

The meticulous design of the cabinet prevents a maximum amount of resonance and parasitic noise, while the Room Control function helps to control the lower end of the spectrum by adapting to the working environment. As a result, mixing becomes easier, free from any interference.

Available in black or white, Yamaha is now offering an extremely limited Space Grey edition.
