JBL Pro - 306P MKIII (la pièce)
The JBL 306P MKIII monitor speaker delivers a balanced listening experience designed for creative environments where every detail deserves its place, with sound reproduction that remains composed even when the mix puts the sound engineer’s patience to the test. Its updated design also prioritises simple installation and versatile use, not to mention a understated aesthetic that fits easily into a home studio or production space, with a discreet character that lets the music speak for itself rather than relying on appearances.
Presentation
Its Class D amplification maintains excellent dynamic control, with consistent performance that helps you distinguish nuances, balances and imperfections without unnecessarily complicating your work sessions.
The new ∅160 mm woofer works in tandem with a 25 mm tweeter and a redesigned waveguide to improve sound dispersion consistency across a wide listening area.
This development makes it easier to decide where to place instruments, vocals or effects within a project, as the sound remains consistent across a comfortable listening range, with a frequency response of 55 Hz to 38 kHz that reveals a wealth of useful information without artificially embellishing the result.
The integrated digital processing provides 81 DSP presets, making it easier to adapt the speaker’s behaviour to different room configurations or positioning. This flexibility complements the 192 kHz ADC, which contributes to precise signal handling to maintain excellent clarity during production work.
The front-mounted bass-reflex port also makes it easier to position the speaker close to a wall – a common scenario in many creative spaces where every available centimetre quickly becomes as precious as a perfect take recorded at the first attempt.
Its balanced sound is equally suited to work on music productions, video editing, dubbing, streaming or multimedia content creation, allowing you to switch from one soundscape to another with appreciable continuity and a grounded listening experience, even when the schedule decides to pick up the pace.

An isolation stand, or isolation pads, is an excellent addition to limit the transmission of vibrations to your desk or furniture, improve the accuracy of low frequencies and maintain a more stable stereo image, even when listening at high volumes.
To extend the low-frequency response, a suitable subwoofer will add depth without forcing the speaker to reproduce the very lowest frequencies, which will also make it easier to evaluate bass-heavy mixes.
