Yamaha - LJ56 Custom ARE
The LJ56 Custom ARE is a 'Medium Jumbo' acoustic guitar handcrafted in Japan from solid, high-quality woods: Engelmann spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. It features A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology, an accelerated wood ageing treatment that gives the guitar a rich, mature resonance, like that of an instrument that has already been played for years. For superior playing comfort, its 5-ply mahogany and rosewood neck features a traditional scroll profile and ebony fingerboard, and the instrument is protected by a nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
Presentation
Its solid Engelmann spruce top benefits from A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) treatment, which artificially ages the wood to bring warmth and sonic maturity right from the first notes. The solid Indian rosewood back and sides enhance bass depth and projection, creating a solid foundation for arpeggios and sustained chords.
The five-ply mahogany and rosewood neck provides stability and comfort, while the ebony fingerboard and bridge accentuate the precision of the attack. The 650 mm scale provides balanced tension, ideal for maintaining clarity in all positions.
Details include a tortoiseshell pickguard, a nitrocellulose finish that lets the wood breathe, and moulded gold tuners for reliable tuning. Thanks to the SRT Zero Impact Pickup, this LJ56 retains its acoustic character even when amplified. Supplied in a hard case, it's the perfect companion for demanding, refined playing.
