Presentation
The Pacifica SC Professional Ash Pink embodies Yamaha's modern, refined approach to its top-of-the-range Pacifica range. Designed for demanding guitarists looking for a balanced, expressive and comfortable instrument, this Professional version benefits from handcrafted Japanese manufacturing, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing a high level of control and consistency.
The alder body, optimised using Acoustic Design technology, has been designed to promote even vibration transmission and immediate dynamic response. This design enhances the instrument's natural resonance while maintaining excellent note definition, even in highly nuanced playing situations. The soft, contemporary Ash Pink finish provides an elegant visual identity that contrasts subtly with the guitar's resolutely modern character.
The maple neck, with its Rounded-C profile, is finished in a satin-finish in a customised shade to ensure a smooth, natural feel in the hand. Combined with a rosewood fingerboard with a compound radius from 9.5 to 12 inches, it provides consistent comfort throughout the length of the neck, whether playing chords or more technical passages. The medium jumbo stainless steel frets guarantee excellent longevity and playability, ideal for intensive use.
The S-H electronics configuration is based on Reflectone™ pickups, developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs. These pickups offer a very faithful reproduction of the signal, with great clarity and a response that is particularly sensitive to touch. The Focus Switch, integrated into the tone control, acts as a passive boost by accentuating the midrange and bass, giving more density and presence without altering the natural dynamics.
The hardware uses high-quality Gotoh components, including locking tuners for excellent tuning stability and a compensated bridge with three brass bridges for sustain and precision. The guitar also benefits from I.R.A. treatment, which simulates the natural ageing of the materials to give a more open and immediate playing feel from the very first notes. The whole set comes in a hard case, ready for transport and professional use.
