Yamaha - Tio1608-D

Users wishing to expand the already generous input/output capabilities of the TF console can easily add up to 3 Tio1608-D stageboxes via an optional NY64-D Dante expansion card. Connection is daisy-chained from the main console to the Tio1608-D racks on stage, using a lightweight CAT5e Ethernet cable that ensures high-quality, low-latency audio data transmission without the need to carry and pull heavy analogue multipairs.

The Dante protocol has been adopted by the world's leading audio manufacturers and professionals, thanks to its low jitter, low latency and high accuracy. The Tio1608-D allows you to easily configure a high-performance Dante stagebox system, without needing to know much about computer networks. Thanks to the flexibility of the Dante network protocol, TF Series consoles can connect to a wide range of Dante-compatible devices, such as R Series I/O racks.

Simply activate QUICK CONFIG mode on the Tio1608-D, and all computer connection settings, such as network parameters and audio assignments, are made automatically, for easy system configuration. After checking that QUICK CONFIG mode is enabled on the TF console and Tio racks, simply enter a UNIT ID for each Tio1608-D rack, then daisy-chain the TF console to the Tio racks. Power it up, and you're ready to go!

Once the basic configuration is complete, you can easily assign inputs to suit your system configuration. The ALL INPUT function lets you instantly assign all inputs to Tio racks, the TF console or a Mac/PC. The user can also modify each input so that it receives a signal from several locations, making efficient use of all the inputs.

The Tio1608-D allows you to easily expand a TF console configuration to 40 input channels and 24 output channels, using the 'Plug In & Play' method. Simply connect the Cat5e cable, set the Device IDs, and the system is ready to use. Control of the preamps is via the Cat5e cable. The StageMix App gives wireless access to all the console's mixing parameters from the hall, stage, etc.
