The Yamaha YDP 145, part of the Arius series, is an 88-key digital piano designed to offer both beginners and experienced pianists an authentic and expressive playing experience. Its Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard faithfully reproduces the feel of an acoustic piano, with heavier resistance in the bass and lighter resistance in the treble, encouraging the development of a solid technique.

At the heart of the YDP-145 is CFX Sampling technology, which reproduces the iconic sound of the Yamaha CFX concert grand piano. This rich, nuanced sound engine offers 10 tones, including electric pianos, organs and strings, for a wide variety of musical pleasures. With a 192-note polyphony, performance remains fluid, even in complex passages or when using the sustain pedal.

In terms of expressivity, the YDP-145 features 3 pedals (sustain with half-pedal, sostenuto, soft) for precise control of resonance. The integrated effects include four types of reverb, intelligent acoustic control and stereo optimisation for improved headphone performance, ideal for playing in silence without losing the richness of the sound.

The piano also features practical functions such as Dual/Layer mode, transposition, a built-in metronome and the ability to record up to two MIDI tracks. Thanks to its USB-to-Host connectivity, it can easily be integrated into a digital environment to work with a sequencer or DAW software.
