The Yamaha YDP-S55 B is an elegant electronic piano from the Arius series, designed to provide an authentic and inspiring playing experience. This compact model is ideal for smaller spaces, while still providing the feel and sound of a traditional acoustic piano.

Featuring 88 keys with GH3 (Graded Hammer 3) action and synthetic ebony and ivory keytops, the YDP-S55 B offers a realistic response and texture that mimics the feel of a grand piano. This technology ensures that the lower keys have a heavier feel and the treble keys are lighter, just like on an acoustic piano.

The sound generator uses CFX Sampling, faithfully reproducing the prestigious sound of the Yamaha CFX grand piano. With a 192-note polyphony, this electronic piano allows complex passages and sound superimpositions without losing a single note, ideal for demanding pieces.

In terms of effects, the YDP-S55 B offers four types of Reverb, Stereo Optimisation and Intelligent Acoustic Control. These technologies enhance the depth and spatiality of sound, providing an immersive experience whether practising on your own or performing in front of an audience.

Built-in features such as Layer and Dual modes, metronome, transposition and tuning allow musicians to personalise their playing experience. The piano also includes three pedals - Sustain with half-pedal capability, Sostenuto and Soft - to enhance musical expression.

The Yamaha YDP-S55 B is also equipped with two headphone outputs for silent practice sessions. With USB to Host connectivity and two-track MIDI recording capability, this electronic piano is also an excellent tool for composing and recording.
