When an interview takes place in a changing environment, the Yellowtec iXm Premium Head YT5021 electret cardioid microphone allows you to adapt the pickup pattern of your iXm microphone using a dedicated head. Its cardioid polar pattern provides a versatile response for a range of environments, particularly at events or outdoors where there is traffic noise.

PREMIUM electret technology is designed to capture the lowest sound pressure levels and offers increased sensitivity in the high-frequency ranges. Thanks to the TOTO mechanism, the current capsule can be removed and replaced in a matter of seconds, making it easy to switch between different recording set-ups.

Its robust dark grey metal construction is well-suited to regular use. The iXm system also combines its heads with LEA processing, which balances frequency ranges and levels. The high-pass filter reduces the proximity effect common to directional microphones. Compatible with the iXm windscreen, this capsule can therefore complement your setup without having to change the recording microphone.
