The Zildjian Orchestral 34" is the largest gong in the series, designed for orchestras, the stage and immersive environments. Compared with the 26" and 30" models, it has a more massive projection, deeper bass and much longer sustain. Its traditional hammered bronze construction produces a dark, dense, harmonically rich sound, ideal for high dynamics.

Presentation
The Zildjian Orchestral 34" gong follows in the tradition of the large Chau gongs used in symphony orchestras and large-scale stage productions. It is made in China using ancestral methods, using a one-piece construction of hammered bronze, designed to generate rich harmonics and great depth of sound.
This 34" format is clearly different from the 26" and 30" versions. The larger diameter provides more massive projection, deeper bass and significantly longer sustain. The sound is denser, with a more enveloping sensation of sound mass and a darker tone that extends even further into the space.
The gong retains great expressivity: it can create calm, immersive ambiences, while responding with a powerful attack when the playing becomes more intense. Its traditional finish and pre-punched design make it easy to install.
