Zildjian - Gong Traditionnel 40"

This 40-inch Zildjian gong immerses you in a deep, rich and enveloping sound, designed to resonate throughout the space as much as it does with the listener. Crafted in China according to time-honoured traditions, this Chau-style gong features a single-piece bronze construction, carefully hammered to bring out the full richness of its resonances. When struck, the dark, deep bass notes settle with great breadth, then give way to a weave of warm harmonics that gradually enriches the sound spectrum. A crisp, powerful attack can also emerge when the music calls for greater intensity, giving the gong a spectacular presence in the most expressive passages.

With its 40-inch diameter and heavy gauge, this model has the scale required to produce a long resonance and a genuine sense of depth. It is naturally at home within a symphony orchestra or a percussion ensemble, but its tonal character can also complement more contemporary musical contexts. Its harmonic richness also makes it an interesting instrument for wellness and relaxation practices, where the long vibrations can create a particularly immersive atmosphere.

Pre-perforated and supplied with a rope, this gong is ready to be mounted on a suitable stand. Its natural finish reveals the authentic character of the bronze and highlights its place within an ancient instrumental tradition, carried on here by Zildjian for both musicians and those seeking sound-based relaxation.
