Zildjian - Wind Gong 24" Logo Gravé

The Zildjian Wind Gong 24" ZXGO00424 follows in the footsteps of the traditional Chinese gongs used in symphony orchestras, marching bands and more contemplative settings. This version retains the same sonic personality as the ZXGO00324 model, with a visible difference in the engraved Zildjian logo, the size of which varies according to this model.

Constructed from B20 and designed to be thin, this gong reacts immediately to the slightest impact. Its flat, rimless surface gives a direct response, with a vibration that quickly settles into the sound space. The B20 material provides a marked harmonic richness, with a broad spectrum that evolves according to the intensity of the playing.

At low intensity, the sound settles into an enveloping, almost floating low register. By increasing the attack, the Wind Gong develops clean, brilliant and very open ascents, capable of filling a room with great projection. This duality makes it equally suited to subtle textures and more intense, expressive passages.

Supplied with a suspension cord for installation on a stand, this model also features visible black Zildjian branding on the front and rear, with the size of the logo varying according to the version. A piece designed for orchestral, stage or experimental use, where the dynamics of the sound remain at the centre of the game.
