2Box - SpeedLight Kit

The 2BOX SpeedLight Kit is a complete electronic drum kit built around the DrumIt Three module, which forms the sonic heart of the set. The kit includes a bass drum, a 10-inch snare drum, three 8-inch toms, a 13-inch hi-hat, a 12-inch crash cymbal and a 14-inch ride cymbal with detection of the bell, rim and surface. The snare and tom pads use mesh heads to replicate a playing feel closer to that of an acoustic drum kit.

The DrumIt Three module offers 15 universal trigger inputs, all of which can be configured according to the pads or cymbals used. In particular, it supports 3-zone snare drums and cymbals, whilst also allowing the integration of equipment from other manufacturers. With 4 GB of memory, 24-bit digital-to-analogue converters and a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz, it offers ample storage capacity for sounds and kits.

The open sound architecture allows you to import your own samples using the included 2BOX editor for Windows and Mac. Sounds can be built up from multiple layers of samples to reproduce the variations in timbre and dynamics associated with playing dynamics. The module also features MIDI inputs and outputs, a USB connection, a line-in and a headphone output, as well as four audio outputs. The SpeedLight Kit comes with stands, a rack and eight 6.35 mm stereo jack cables, whilst it takes up approximately 1.2 x 0.70 m of floor space, excluding the space required for the drum stool.
