AKG - C547 BL
The AKG C547BL is a hypercardioid surface microphone designed for environments where directionality and durability are just as important as sound quality. Its PCC technology and crush-proof housing combine to form a discreet and robust unit, capable of switching from conference settings to the stage with almost suspicious ease.
Presentation
Its frequency response of 30 Hz to 18 kHz amply covers the relevant frequency range of a voice, a spoken address or an instrumental source. The maximum sound pressure level of 133 dB also extends its range of application to powerful sources, notably the bass drum, with a margin suitable for high sound levels.
The switchable 150 Hz low-cut filter provides an additional option for controlling the low-frequency component of the captured signal. This feature is particularly useful when vibrations or low frequencies interfere with the sound reproduction, offering targeted control that makes it easier to adapt the microphone to different recording set-ups.
The crush-resistant housing reinforces the C547BL’s suitability for stage set-ups subject to repeated handling. RFi-Shield technology also reduces interference caused by electromagnetic interference, resulting in a cleaner recording in environments containing a large amount of electrical equipment.
