AKG - PT470 Bande 1
The AKG PT470 Band 1 is a compact analogue bodypack transmitter designed for professional applications requiring mobility, HF stability and long battery life. Compatible with a wide range of AKG microphones and instrument cables, it is equally suited to voice, instrument and presentation applications.
Presentation
Compatible with AKG WMS470 wireless systems, this bodypack operates in the Band 1 frequency range between 650 and 680 MHz with a bandwidth of 30 MHz. It provides access to up to 1220 frequencies selectable in 25 kHz steps to optimise RF management in complex environments or multi-channel installations. Up to 24 simultaneous systems can be used, depending on RF configuration and local regulations.
The PT470 incorporates AKG's Pilot Tone transmission to avoid unwanted noise during accidental power-downs or power-ups. Battery status information is also sent directly to the receiver for more secure control during operation. Infrared synchronisation simplifies settings and speeds up pairing with the SR470 receiver.
Thanks to its lockable 3-pin mini XLR connector, the PT470 can be used with a wide range of AKG headset microphones, lavalier microphones and instrument cables. In particular, it is compatible with part numbers C417, CK99, C411, C516, C518, C519, C520, C544 or HC577. This versatility means you can use the same transmitter for conferences, shows, instruments or sports applications.
Its power management system provides up to 14 hours of autonomy from a single AA lithium battery. The built-in charging contacts also allow direct recharging of a NiMH battery via the optional AKG CU400 docking station. Finally, a dedicated connector allows the addition of the RMS4000 external switch to mute the microphone remotely when required.

Founded in 1947 in Vienna, AKG is today one of the major players in the world of audio, with references for microphones and headphones used in the world's largest recording studios. These include the C414 condenser microphone, the small C451 diaphragm and the K series of monitoring headsets.
Since its acquisition by Harman International in 1994, AKG has continued to innovate with new stage microphones, analog and digital wireless systems, the Perception Series, and collaborations with artists such as Tiësto on DJ headphones.
