The Colt amp head is the compact, dual-channel alternative to the famous Plexi in 'Studio' format. It offers the sonic palette of the 4-input '59 series and the 20-watt 800 series, in a more contemporary French design that makes it easy to handle. It's made by Fx Amps from the highest quality European components, guaranteeing exceptional sound and ruggedness.

Presentation
The Plexi channel is a typical SLP drive that becomes more precise and more incisive, like an 800 on the Boost channel.
Each channel has its own volume and gain control on the front panel, so you can find a balance without having to keep tinkering with your amp.
Its 20 Watts provide the necessary power to play reasonable stages without any problems. Thanks to its built-in attenuator, it can be turned down from 20 Watts to 2 Watts, so you can play at home without losing any of its grain, while retaining a very nice bass and dynamics.
The EL34 tubes are easy to change or replace with 6L6s (for a more American sound), and no calibration is required thanks to the no-Bias system.
Its lunchbox format and weight make it easy to transport, and its optimised, robust design make it clearly an amp designed to be moved around without a care in the world.
