Ace Amplification - EVO

With the Evo amp head, Ace Amplification has opted for a valve-based design engineered to deliver a rich and controlled tonal response. Its 20 W power output, complemented by a 2 W mode, allows the output level to be adjusted to suit different volume requirements, without compromising on tone. The ultra-linear master volume control also fine-tunes the volume level to ensure the amp remains suitable for use at low volumes.

The clean channel of this valve guitar amp head covers a range from a crystal-clear tone to a light crunch, with a response that adapts to the nuances of your playing. The gain controls allow you to vary the tonal texture, from delicate arpeggios to blues-rock riffs, whilst retaining a raw and expressive tonal character.

For more powerful tones, the second channel draws on a British JCM-style inspiration, enhanced by greater gain headroom and a more contemporary sound character. The 1.5 circuit update softens its original character and enhances its versatility, with improved reproduction of the instrument’s nuances and the guitarist’s attack.

Whilst the power amp section is fitted with 6L6 valves as standard, it is also compatible with EL34s, and even offers the option of mixing the two types thanks to the No Bias system, without the need for any special adjustments. This design simplifies maintenance and allows you to explore different sonic responses.
