Union Audio - orbit.2 LE fx

Union Audio's orbit.2 LE fx takes the analogue sound philosophy of the range and adds a creative dimension with the integration of a DSP module featuring eight effects selected for their musicality.

This version retains the structure of two independent channels, each with high-quality phono and line inputs, a variable-Q high-pass filter and Alps rotary faders renowned for their precision and fluidity. This technical choice provides a warm signature typical of analogue circuits, while allowing very gradual transitions, characteristic of rotary mixing.

The integrated effects engine considerably extends the processing possibilities, offering delays, reverbs, phaser, flanger, bit-crusher and resonant filters. One of the delays features automatic BPM detection, with the option of switching to manual control via a tap tempo button.

The effects are activated by a single button that can operate in latching or momentary mode, offering great flexibility of expression. An external processor can also be added, and the two processes can work together to create complex textures or very fine accents, depending on the DJ's style.

The Master section incorporates a four-band isolator offering a full cut and up to +6dB of boost. It can operate in three- or four-band versions with crossover frequencies between 110 Hz and 3 kHz, providing a real tool for sound sculpting. The layout remains true to the brand's standards: ergonomic controls, clear level readout and intuitive control of every parameter.
