Pioneer DJ - DJM-A9

The DJM-A9's incredibly clear sound comes from extensive development and fine-tuning of existing technology, as well as brand new components, including high-quality 32-bit ESS Technology A/D and D/A converters in the channel section and outputs respectively.

It features increased spacing around the EQ knobs, bright LEDs in the channel section, optimised frequency response on the isolators, smoother channel faders than the DJM-900NXS2, and a third-generation MAGVEL FADER crossfader.

With the all-new Center Lock function and, when using the popular Sound Color FX, each knob stops turning when you reach the center position so you don't accidentally go too far and switch up/down to the opposite parameter.

A new colour display helps you quickly and accurately understand the status of the selected Beat FX, and features lighting that matches the horizontal layout of the X-Pad, allowing more intuitive control with the swipe of a finger.
The DJM-A9 has 14 Beat FX to play with, including 3 new ones:
- Mobius: changes the frequency of the oscillator so that it constantly rises or falls with the beat.
- Triplet Filter: cyclically modifies the cut-off frequency of the filter according to the rhythm.
- Triplet Roll: outputs the recorded sound repeatedly according to the specified fraction of time.

The XLR microphone input is phantom-powered, so you can connect a high-quality condenser microphone directly to the DJM-A9 and take advantage of 3 new effects:
- Echo: produces a staggered sound several times while attenuating it as you go, to create an echo effect.
- Pitch: changes the pitch of the microphone sound.
- Megaphone: changes the sound of the microphone to sound as if you're speaking into a megaphone.

The DJM-A9 offers a wide variety of connections:
Connect 2 different PC/Mac systems at the same time using the USB Type-B and USB Type-C ports (there are 2 of each!) and route wireless audio to any channel via the Bluetooth input.
The Multi I/O section features an independent channel selector, giving the DJM-A9 extensive send capabilities.
There are also two headphone outputs, each with its own cue buttons, volume knobs and mix balance buttons, so you can monitor tracks independently of another DJ.
