ARTICLE N° 122945
The Altamira M20 EN is part of the brand's Gipsy Jazz range, with a construction entirely designed for acoustic gypsy playing. The format remains classic for this style, with a light body and an immediate feel under the fingers. From the very first notes, the response is direct, with no need for any particular adaptation time.

The solid European spruce top provides a clean attack and good projection, especially on fast rhythms and well-articulated phrases. The ovangkol back and sides balance the whole with a warmer colour, producing a sound that's both clear and slightly rounded in the bass.

The African mahogany neck, combined with an ebony fingerboard and 52 mm nut, is comfortable enough for typical gypsy jazz playing. Tight chords, pumps and fast lines come through naturally, with good stability throughout the neck. The 670 mm scale provides the characteristic tension sought after in this type of guitar, helping to maintain precision in both rhythmic playing and solos.

The M20 EN is also a fairly versatile guitar in its own right. It's well suited to gypsy jazz, of course, but also to acoustic swing or more modern approaches inspired by this idiom. Supplied in a hard case, it remains practical for transport and regular travel.
