API Audio 565 Filter Bank, 500 Series format analogue filter module inspired by the circuit of the famous 215 module on API consoles. It combines a high-pass filter, a low-pass filter and a variable notch filter with adjustable Q. Built with the API 2520 and 2510 operational amplifiers and a transformer-balanced output, it offers the API sonic character for cleaning and precise shaping of the audio signal.

Presentation
The API 565 Filter Bank is a professional analogue filter module in 500 Series format, designed to offer precise frequency control while retaining API's legendary sonic signature. Based on the 215 module circuit used in API analogue consoles, it offers three complementary filter sections for effectively cleaning and sculpting an audio signal.
The first section is a sweepable high-pass filter covering frequencies from 20 Hz to 400 Hz, ideal for removing unwanted background noise, vibration or bass. A second section offers a sweepable low-pass filter from 500 Hz to 20 kHz, useful for attenuating high frequencies or limiting the bandwidth of a source. Filter slopes can be selected to precisely tailor the processing response.
The third section is a Twin-T active notch filter fully sweepable from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with an adjustable Q factor to eliminate highly targeted problem frequencies, such as resonance or feedback. Each section has its own bypass switch, giving total control over processing.
The 565 uses the API 2520 and 2510 operational amplifiers, as well as the discrete buffers used in the famous 550 series equalizers. Combined with a transformer-balanced output capable of reaching +28 dBu, it guarantees a large headroom reserve and the API analogue sound signature.
