The result of thoughtful engineering, The Channel Strip includes everything needed to record an audio signal. It all starts with the popular Mic 512c Preamplifier, which includes the benefit of additional switching of Mic, Line or Instrument inputs. Next is the 527 Multi-Mode Compressor with fully adjustable threshold, attack, release and ratio controls on the notched knobs.
The 527's patented Thrust circuit gives your track the "in-your-face" punch that this circuit is known for. Also included in The Channel Strip, the most famous and revered EQ API of all time, the 550A three-band EQ with its switchable frequencies and 12dB of boost or cut. The 550A's high and low frequency bands can be individually switched to be stage EQs, and the "B.P." switches the inserts a filter between 50Hz and 15KHz.
