The Art & Lutherie Legacy Faded Black is a 6-string acoustic guitar in a class of its own: the Concert Hall format enlarges the body, increases projection and gives the sound a foundation that smaller formats simply cannot replicate. The 630.936 mm scale places the hand in a natural position on the Silver Leaf maple neck, a rigid wood that transmits vibrations without filtering them.
The full body, back and sides of Canadian wild cherry produce an assertive midrange, with a character less neutral than mahogany and more straightforward than spruce. The solid cedar top - in a semi-gloss Faded Black finish - responds to touch with immediate sensitivity, making it ideal for fingerpicking styles such as acoustic folk or indie rhythms. The rosewood fingerboard with a 406.4 mm radius keeps the strings flat in barre positions, without the fingertips crushing the edges.
The 43.688 mm Graphtech nut keeps the A6 LT (.012 to .053) strings perfectly in line and reduces tuning snags - a real advantage both in rehearsal and on stage. The 16:1 ratio mechanics make fine adjustments accessible even under pressure.
