Folk Electro Acoustic Guitar

Art & Lutherie Roadhouse Bourbon Burst A/E The Seagull Roadhouse Bourbon Burst E/A has an instantly recognisable acoustic signature: its solid cedar top delivers warm lows and a fine dynamic response, backed by a Canadian wild cherry body that adds a woody midrange presence. The short 630.94 mm scale provides supple string tension, ideal for fingerpicking in open tunings. Built-in Fishman A/E pickup.

The Seagull Roadhouse Bourbon Burst E/A follows in the tradition of North American pocket guitars with a voice that transcends its Parlor format. The solid cedar top generates a smooth attack and ample harmonics from the first touch - cedar, which is lighter than spruce, vibrates with a sensitivity that serves the nuances of finger-style playing. The Canadian wild cherry back and sides anchor this warmth in a woody medium grain that balances the natural openness of the cedar without stifling its projection.

The construction is based on a Silver Leaf maple neck with controlled rigidity, combined with a rosewood fingerboard whose natural density makes it glide smoothly under the fingers. The 630.94 mm pitch reduces string tension and brings the frets closer together - all eighteen frets are accessible without excessive extension, a real advantage for open positions and low bars. The 406.4 mm (16") fingerboard radius flattens the surface slightly for fatigue-free chord playing. The 43.69 mm GraphTech saddle ensures clean string-to-string balance and crisp articulation of every note.

For amplification, the Fishman A/E transducer and preamp with its volume and tone controls delivers a neutral, transparent signal on stage or in direct recording. The A6 LT strings (.012-.053) fitted as standard maintain the lightness of play on the short scale. The semi-gloss Bourbon Burst finish dresses the instrument in a vintage amber gradation that matches the aesthetics of the Roadhouse series. Made in Canada, this guitar is aimed at players looking for a fingerpicking instrument with open chords in a portable format without sacrificing acoustic projection.
