The John Myung Signature Double Drive was born from Ashdown's collaboration with the famous Dream Theater bassist. Bass distortion usually requires a solid gain structure, with Johns playing a Music Man Bongo 6-string signature bass, the challenge was to reproduce a wide frequency range that would retain the unique tonal quality and sound signature of this outstanding artist.
