Audio Technica - ATH-R70xa
Audio-Technica ATH-R70xa headphones are ideal for professional mixing, offering long-lasting comfort and extremely pure sound reproduction. The carbon headband is lightweight, the cable is detachable for greater convenience and each pair of headphones is handcrafted in Japan.
Presentation
Designed as an evolution of the R70x, this model retains the strengths of its predecessor - neutrality, space and clarity - while refining the reproduction: even sharper transients, more detailed spatialisation, and zero cheating in the lower end of the spectrum.
What you hear is what you get.
With open headphones, the air circulates freely around the transducers: no parasitic resonance, no artificial compression of the signal. You can really hear how your mix breathes.
And with a frequency response that covers 5 Hz to 40 kHz, it lets all the micro-infos through, from sub-bass to high harmonics.
It colours nothing, flatters nothing. In short: it's there to help you make real decisions. All this in a super-lightweight design (199g), almost imperceptible on the head, with carbon headband and comfortable velvet earpads. Perfect for long sessions.
