The Avantone Pro CLA-100 is a power amplifier for passive studio monitors.
The CLA-100 is an uncompromisingly high-performance amplifier: 100 watts RMS per channel, this compact model is only 1U high and can be rack-mounted to deliver the classic sound of Class AB hi-fi and studio systems. Like its larger, more powerful siblings, the CLA-100 features an oversized toroidal transformer and high-quality Japanese filter capacitors, powered by a classic array of MOSFET transistors for detailed high-frequency reproduction.
The CLA-100 is a true miniature worker, delivering 100 watts RMS at less than 1% distortion + noise (1 kHz) at 8 ohms per channel. Its ultra-linear response of +/-0.25 dB from 20 Hz to 30 kHz at full power offers sound quality equivalent to that of amplifiers costing several times as much.
Its convection heat dissipation system eliminates any fan noise, making it perfectly suited to control room installation.
