B&C Speakers - 10CXN64 8 Ohm Coax

The B&C Speakers 10CXN64 8 Ohm is a 10-inch coaxial speaker featuring two separate drivers, one for the bass and low-midrange, the other for the high frequencies, housed around a single neodymium magnet circuit.

This design not only optimizes the power-to-weight ratio, but also ensures perfect sonic coherence, essential in compact configurations with high sound pressure.

The bass section is supported by a 64 mm copper voice coil, capable of handling 250 W continuous power (500 W in program mode). This driver is paired with a waterproof-treated cone on the front panel, ensuring excellent stability in humid conditions or climatic variations.

The LF driver offers stable performance with a Qts of 0.31, a resonance frequency of 68 Hz, and mechanical efficiency enhanced by a Bl factor of 15.8 Tm.

For the tweeter section, the 10CXN64 incorporates a 65 mm CCAW voice coil with a titanium diaphragm, driving the 1.2 kHz to 18 kHz range. Sensitivity reaches 103 dB, and power handling is 160 W.

The addition of an aluminum demodulation ring in the magnetic circuit effectively reduces harmonic distortion, ensuring accurate treble reproduction, even at high volumes.

The single neodymium driver centralizes the two magnetic fields in a compact 261 mm diameter and 142 mm depth. The 70° coverage allows for good signal distribution, making it a suitable solution for versatile full-range speakers, stage monitors, or mobile applications.
