The B&C Speakers 12CLA76 8 Ohm is a 12-inch speaker designed for professional applications requiring powerful and precise sound reproduction. Equipped with a 76 mm voice coil in copper-plated aluminum, it ensures efficient thermal management and a capacity of 800 W AES.
Its neodymium magnet reduces weight while providing an intense magnetic field, promoting a high sensitivity of 98.5 dB at 1W/1m. Its frequency response extends from 50 Hz to 3 kHz, making it an ideal solution for use as a woofer in sound reinforcement speakers requiring precise reproduction of bass and low mids.
Its exponential cone, treated to resist humidity on its front face, guarantees better durability, in all types of environments. With a resonance frequency (Fs) of 52 Hz and a Qts of 0.25, this speaker is optimized for a 40-liter load tuned to 60 Hz, providing an excellent compromise between efficiency and low-frequency extension.
Its triple-roll suspension and 5.3 mm Xmax provide precise control of cone movement, limiting distortion even at high levels. Its single spider maintains the mechanical stability of the moving assembly, ensuring linear behavior throughout its operating range.
