B&C Speakers - 12FL76 8 Ohm

The 12FL76 from B&C Speakers is aimed at those looking for a full-range loudspeaker capable of delivering a highly directional midrange, without having to rely systematically on DSP or advanced digital processing.

It's a wise choice for applications such as KTV, voice announcing, or simple two-way systems, where the presence of the voice is paramount.

With its 12-inch format and extended response from 50 to 4000 Hz, it covers a good part of the useful spectrum, particularly in the bass and midrange. Its 76 mm aluminium voice coil is mounted on a fibreglass support, and provides efficient heat dissipation thanks to its 11 mm air gap. This robust assembly delivers a continuous power output of 400 W (up to 800 W in programme), with good stability even in prolonged use.

This loudspeaker also stands out for its sensitivity of 97.5 dB, which enables it to generate significant acoustic pressure with relatively little power. This makes it an ideal solution for passive or semi-active systems. Its double-roller suspension, rigid basket and waterproof cone at the front ensure long life, even in the most demanding environments.

The mechanical behaviour is well balanced, with an Xmax of 6 mm, a BL of 18.7 T-m, and an alignment of parameters that allows it to be mounted in bass-reflex speakers of around 40 litres, tuned around 55 Hz. The result is a clear, dynamic and effortless reproduction, with a very expressive midrange.
