The B&C Speakers 21IPAL 1 Ohm represents the pinnacle of bass transducer technology. Designed specifically to work in synergy with Powersoft IPAL amplifiers, it combines power, control and reliability in a format designed for the most demanding subwoofer applications.
This 21-inch (53cm) driver features a 6-inch (153mm) split-wound aluminium voice coil capable of handling 5000W AES continuously. Its internal neodymium magnet design and ventilated air gap ensure excellent heat dissipation and consistent output, even at extreme SPL levels.
The 21IPAL's mechanical design is equally impressive, offering a maximum excursion of ±22mm and a peak-to-peak displacement of 80mm before damage, ensuring massive physical impact at the lowest frequencies. Its double-sided waterproof radial cone and dual silicone suspension ensure linear, reliable operation, even in the most demanding environments.
With a sensitivity of 99 dB, a resonant frequency of 37 Hz and a recommended load of 200 litres tuned to 40 Hz, this transducer sets a new standard in sub-bass performance. It is aimed at high-end broadcast systems and touring applications requiring deep, accurate and devastating bass.
