Designed for professionals who want to extend the life of their B&C 10PLB76 10" loudspeaker, this recone kit offers a reliable solution that complies directly with the original specification.
In the event of mechanical fatigue, a damaged voice coil or a deteriorated cone, the Recone Kit 10PLB76 8 Ohm provides an effective upgrade, without compromising the sound quality or robustness of the loudspeaker.
Each component included is rigorously matched to the model concerned: radial cone, 76 mm aluminium voice coil on fibreglass support, single spider, bonnet, shims, suspension and gasket. Once installed, this kit delivers nominal performance, with 400 W of continuous power handling (800 W in programme), sensitivity of 98 dB SPL and linear response from 50 Hz to 2.5 kHz.
Dynamic behaviour, including maximum excursion (Xmax ±6 mm), BL factor (18.4 Tm) and bass response (Fs 52 Hz), is identical to that of the original loudspeaker.
Easy to install for experienced repairers, this kit avoids the need to replace the entire loudspeaker, while retaining the qualities of projection, precision and efficiency expected on a stage, in a performance or in a fixed installation. A practical, economical and durable option, perfectly suited to the realities of the profession.
