The Recone Kit 12NW76 8 Ohm from B&C Speakers is designed to refurbish the 12NW76 loudspeaker in its 8 ohm version. It is aimed at technicians, rental companies and installers who want to extend the life of their loudspeakers without compromising original performance. All the components included are original manufacturer's parts, perfectly adjusted and rigorously compliant with the loudspeaker's original specifications.
Specifically, this repair kit includes the moisture-treated cone (TWP Waterproof on both sides), the 76 mm copper voice coil, the spider, the bonnet, the gasket, the centring spacers and the necessary bonding elements. Each part is calibrated to fit the 12NW76 motor and bowl without adjustment.
Once rebuilt, the loudspeaker regained its initial electromechanical behaviour: a rated power of 500 W (1000 W in programme), a frequency response of 40 Hz to 2000 Hz, a sensitivity of 98 dB, and a linear excursion of 8 mm. The motor, based on a ring-mounted neodymium magnet and a T-pole magnetic circuit, remains perfectly exploited thanks to the precise alignment of the new coil. The whole system guarantees efficient, accurate bass and low-midrange reproduction, whether in a two-way subwoofer or a full-range loudspeaker.
