The DE800 motor stands out for its robustness and performance. With a 75 mm aluminium voice coil and a polyimide/titanium composite diaphragm, it covers a frequency range from 1 kHz to 18 kHz. This design enables it to reproduce detail with precision, while offering a power reserve capable of meeting the demands of large stages and fixed installations requiring impeccable reliability.

The 16 Ohm version offers ideal compatibility with multi-channel systems. The motor has a sensitivity of 108 dB and supports 110 W AES, or 220 W continuously. In practical terms, this means that it delivers a high level of sound without requiring excessive amplification. This high efficiency is an asset for obtaining clear, powerful high frequencies, while maintaining a safety margin for prolonged use.

The choice of polyimide/titanium composite material for the diaphragm is no detail. It combines the rigidity of titanium with the flexibility of polyimide, providing a balance between precision and durability. Supported by a magnetic field of 1.85 Tesla, the motor maintains optimum control even under heavy load, avoiding distortion and guaranteeing faithful reproduction of vocals, percussion and effects.

The ME142 horn, meanwhile, has a horizontal opening of 120° for wider diffusion. Its crossover frequency of 0.8 kHz ensures a smooth link with the midrange drivers, providing a homogenous response across the entire spectrum. Its cast aluminium construction reduces resonance and adds to its durability, making it a safe choice for line-array or modular systems.
