Bettermaker Mastering Limiter V2 combines high-end analogue processing and full plug-in control for precise, recallable mastering. Its new limiting engine, redesigned clipper section and Color M/S matrix increase loudness while maintaining transparency and dynamics. Ideal for mastering engineers, bus mixes and professional finalisation.

ARTICLE N° 121199
The Bettermaker Mastering Limiter V2 is a hybrid mastering processor combining an entirely analogue audio path with full DAW plugin control. This architecture allows you to achieve the sound quality of an analogue limiter while benefiting from instant recall, automation and digital precision.

The new limiting engine improves transparency and loudness management. Users can fine-tune attack, intelligent or manual release, and gain reduction up to 20dB to achieve competitive levels without degrading dynamics. This flexibility meets the needs of mastering, mix bus and broadcast production engineers.

The completely redesigned clipper section is one of the highlights of the V2. It offers two independent modules with mix control between clipping and limiting. This approach makes it possible to manage transients before limiting and obtain a higher sound level while maintaining the clarity of the mix.

Bettermaker Mastering Limiter V2 also features an advanced Colour section with Mid/Side matrix. Two saturation modules can be used simultaneously: one favouring odd-numbered harmonics for extra punch, the other even-numbered harmonics to soften the top end of the spectrum. This feature makes it easy to enhance the final mix without external processing.

The advanced sidechain with high-pass filter and high-frequency boost preserves low frequencies while controlling peaks. This type of processing is particularly useful for electronic music, hip-hop or modern pop where bass management is essential.

Finally, the integrated measurement system includes LUFS, 30-band FFT, goniometer, correlation meter and various types of VU. These tools enable precise control of loudness and stereo directly from the limiter, making it a complete solution for professional mastering.

Thanks to its analogue-digital combination, precise control and advanced measurement tools, the Bettermaker Mastering Limiter V2 is ideal for mastering engineers, producers and studios looking for a transparent, powerful final limiter that can be fully recalled in the DAW.
