The secret? A rigorous selection of components, an electroluminescent panel adjusted for ideal capacitive behaviour, and a pair of perfectly matched photoelectric cells. Each unit is hand-tested in the USA on a test bench designed specifically by Black Lion, guaranteeing consistent performance from one to the next.

The T4BLA is compatible with a wide range of optical compressors, from legendary models like the LA-2A to modern reproductions like the WA-2A and KT-2A. It is aimed at studios wishing to restore or upgrade their compressor with a reliable, musical part that conforms to professional standards.
