Just as the Waza-Air did for guitarists, thanks to cutting-edge BOSS innovation, the Waza-Air Bass is a new stand-alone playing solution for bassists. More than just a headphone amp, the Waza-Air Bass combines premium amp sounds, effects and wireless technology to deliver dynamic 3D sound in a unique bass amplification experience never before possible.
Satisfying and inspiring
Playing bass at home is often problematic because of the low frequencies that easily penetrate walls and floors, disturbing those around you. Using headphones is often necessary, but the sound lacks the depth provided by a music room. Waza-Air Bass radically changes this by restoring the natural dimension, resonance and sense of air movement that is lost when playing through headphones. A built-in gyroscope tracks your head position at all times. Advanced 3D algorithms then transpose this data into incredibly realistic spatialised sound. You have to hear it to believe it! And it's all automatic. All you need to do is connect and play.

Waza-Air Bass features a host of great amp sounds and effects, ready-to-play presets that are fully customisable via the companion BOSS Tone Studio app. Five different bass amp types deliver clean, punchy modern, vintage and tube sounds. There's also a wide choice of bass-friendly effects including Compressor, Overdrive, EQ and T-Wah, rich modulation and ambience effects, as well as Octaver, Bass Synth, Ring Mod and more. And with six memory locations, users can store their favourite settings and recall them using dedicated buttons.

Static mode is even more realistic, with the sounds of the amp and the room changing according to the position of your head. Stage mode transports you to a concert stage, with the sound of the amp appearing to come from speakers behind you, with built-in acoustic drum patterns or music from your smartphone via Bluetooth.

Waza-Air Bass connectivity is 100% wireless, so you don't have to worry about a thing. You'll be able to move freely, with no wires wrapped around your legs, so you'll never be disconnected from your amp by walking on a cable. And thanks to the advanced wireless technology inherited from the famous BOSS WL range, you'll always enjoy premium-quality sound and a comfortable playing experience with ultra-low latency. Automatic Standby and Resume functions save battery power during your downtime, minimising the need to plug in and recharge.
