Electric Guitar Effects
You can think of the Parabola as your amp's new Tremolo channel. The team at Caroline Guitar Co have adapted the sublime LFO and distinctive waveform of their favourite West German effect, tweaking its speed and depth to surpass those of your favourite classic amps, then added pre- and post-gain stages for overdrive and volume boost.

Presentation
The pedal offers the amplitude modulation (AM) you expect, or filtered frequency modulation (FM), which is subtle, beautiful and less intrusive on your playing.
With this pedal, the Havoc setting increases the speed and depth of the effect.
To give the effect more kick, press and hold the Havoc, then release to return to your settings.
Alternatively, turn down the speed completely and press Havoc for tremolo jumps.

Note from the designer :
"One of my favourite things about the Parabola is the sound quality.
I love the beautiful 'early Wim Wenders and Hal Hartley film music' ambience of the old Schaller TR-68 oscillator-based transistor. But the originals had their faults. The input suffered degradation and the volume dropped significantly when the effect was used.
So they were fine for recording, we adjusted the EQ to compensate for the losses, but it was difficult live.
And this was even before the difficulties associated with the potentiometers or the limited speed.
By improving the input impedance and the gain stage, we've been able to reproduce the sound I loved in the originals, while giving you plenty of gain, keeping it entirely analogue and transistor-based, and retaining that sound and atmosphere that may not be for everyone but that I find special and beautiful.
The speeds have been improved from a slow AC-30 type to the faster levels of a Fender Silverface.
The depth control does some really cool stuff before 3am and you have to hear the AM/FM modes to believe it!"
