Keyboard with Dynamic Touch
For practising at home, composing songs, rehearsing and performing on stage, the CT-S500 is an all-in-one instrument that gives you high-quality sound and lets you give free rein to your creativity. It uses the AiX sound source, developed specifically for sound-driven instruments, and is capable of delivering a wide range of eminently expressive, high-quality tones. It has everything you need, whether you're playing live in front of an audience or streaming over the web. Its speakers are designed using Casio's advanced Horizontal Bass Reflex technology, which delivers powerful low-frequency sound despite its compact dimensions.

In addition, the CT-S500 offers a set of ADVANCED SOUNDS that allow you to express your creativity without limits.
Thanks to Casio's Active DSP function, effect parameters can be assigned to control knobs and adjusted in real time, resulting in more dynamic and expressive performances.
The CT-S500 features a host of built-in effects, from compressor and phaser to distortion and wah wah, to transform your sound. Choose from 100 types of DSP effects for each of the four available effects chains, and assign effect parameters to physical knobs for dynamic, real-time control.
When it comes to digital effects, the CT-S500 allows you to create reverb, chorus and response delay effects. And because two independent effects chains can be applied to two different sounds, you can switch between them with ease.
Even when you superimpose two sounds or split the keyboard into two parts, you can still apply separate effects chains to each sound.
When you use the automatic accompaniment function, you can apply different effects to the main part (melody) and the accompaniment part.
Activate the surround sound function and experience the power and vibrancy of the music, or activate the Volume-Sync EQ function, which automatically adjusts the sound in relation to the volume for full sound, even at low volumes.
Don't feel limited by the built-in tones: The CT-S500 can also sample sounds from your smartphone, in the form of treble or percussive sounds. When used as a treble sound, the sample can be used to play melodies and other musical lines.
When used as drum sounds, samples can be used to replace individual percussion sounds. Treble sounds can use samples of around 10 seconds, while percussion sounds can use samples of around 3 seconds.
Get creative with different types of sound: your own voice, your pet's voice, ambient noise and more. Combine them with Active DSP effects for unique musical creations.
