HiFi Amplifiers

The Cayin Pearl 30i features a dual-chassis design with a dedicated external power supply to minimise interference and optimise power delivery to the audio circuits. Fitted with eight KT-170 tubes and capable of delivering up to 2 x 230 W in ultra-linear mode, it also offers triode mode operation to tailor the sound reproduction to your listening preferences.

Cayin introduces the Pearl 30i, a valve integrated amplifier designed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Cayin brand. It features a sophisticated design based on two separate chassis: one dedicated to the audio circuitry and the other to the power supply.

This design isolates the different sections of the unit to minimise interference between components and ensure a stable power supply for each channel. The external power supply features four power transformers and separate power supplies for the left and right channels.

The amplification stage utilises eight KT-170 tubes, combined with two Mullard CV4004/12AX7 tubes and four TungSol 6SN7GTB tubes. This configuration enables the Pearl 30i to deliver 2 x 145 watts in triode mode and up to 2 x 230 watts in ultra-linear mode. Users can therefore choose the operating mode best suited to their speakers and listening preferences.

To offer further customisation options, the Cayin Pearl 30i also features a tone control allowing the selection of a soft or dynamic mode. Its automatic bias system with an optical sensor also facilitates tube operation by ensuring they function under optimal conditions.

In terms of connectivity, this amplifier offers four stereo RCA inputs, a balanced XLR input, an RCA pre-in, an XLR pre-in, and a dedicated subwoofer output. This comprehensive range of connections makes it easy to integrate the Pearl 30i into an advanced hi-fi system. Finally, its extended frequency response from 5 Hz to 75 kHz helps to preserve the detail and nuances of musical recordings.
