Cayin presents the Soul 170HA, a high-end valve amplifier that combines a stereo hi-fi amplifier and a headphone amplifier in a single unit. Its pure Class A design is based on Tungsol KT170 tubes, combined with 6SN7s for pre-amplification and JJ GZ34S rectifiers, ensuring a warm, harmonically rich sound reproduction.
Two operating modes allow you to tailor the sound: triode mode delivers 2 x 10 W for a textured and expansive sound, whilst ultra-linear mode reaches 2 x 18 W, offering greater energy and dynamics. A tone control (soft or dynamic) allows you to tailor the sound to the musical style, from intimate jazz to energetic rock.
For headphones, the Soul 170HA offers three outputs: 6.35 mm jack, 4.4 mm jack and XLR, with up to 18 W of balanced output power. A three-level gain control ensures compatibility with headphones ranging from 8 to 600 ohms.
Its separate power supply, featuring oversized high-purity copper transformers, guarantees optimal stability and remarkable listening transparency. With its RCA and XLR inputs, it integrates easily into any modern hi-fi system.
