Vintage Guitar

Cort pays tribute to the famous Les Paul with its Classic Rocker (CR) series. The CR300 has all the hallmarks of a great guitar: a mahogany body topped by a maple top, a glued mahogany neck and a jatoba fingerboard. The warm, brilliant tone is complemented by a pair of EMG RetroActive Fat55 active pickups for a punchy vintage sound.

Cort was founded in 1973 by Yung H. Park with the participation of Jack Westheimer, a leading figure in the musical instrument importing business.

The company specialised in the manufacture of guitars and basses, and its growing reputation soon enabled it to become a subcontractor for prestigious brands such as Ibanez, Schecter, Fender, G&L and Paul Reed Smith. This experience has enabled the brand's luthiers to acquire real 'know-how', and so to be able to improve their own manufacture, but always at restricted costs.

Today, it's a renowned company that has worked with big names such as Matthew Bellamy (Muse), Gene Simmons (Kiss), Matthias Jabs (Scorpion), and many others...
