D'Angelico - Premier Lexington LS Satin Vintage Sunburst
D'Angelico Premier Lexington LS Satin Vintage Sunburst The D'Angelico Premier Lexington LS Satin Vintage Sunburst retains the full curve of a non-cutaway dreadnought, true to the original design. The laminated spruce top produces a bright treble, whilst the Slim C neck glides effortlessly under the hand. The MG-30 preamp with built-in tuner connects the instrument straight away.
Presentation
The laminated spruce top responds differently to mahogany: more bite on the attack, with treble that remains crisp under the fingers. The laminated mahogany sides and back enclose the body to produce a round bass tone, supported by X-Scalloped bracing and a 3-ring rosette (ABS). The three-ply body purfling and the single-ply headstock and fingerboard purfling create a crisp outline around the entire body.
The mahogany neck, with a dovetail joint, features a Slim C profile that is slender under the palm, with a thickness of 20 mm at the 1st fret and 22 mm at the 12th. The roasted merbau fingerboard retains its bite across 20 Medium Jumbo frets; its 304.8 mm radius paves the way for wide chords, whilst the PPS nut (42.9 mm) transmits every vibration without loss.
The torrefied merbau Stairstep bridge, Stairstep Wave tuning machines and chrome-plated hardware give the guitar a distinctive identity. The D’Angelico MG-30 preamp with built-in tuner, featuring EQ controls, volume and tuner, a mono jack output and D’Addario EXP-16 strings (12-53), makes the instrument ready for the stage. Scale length 647.7 mm, body depth 101.6–119.4 mm across a width of 406.4 mm, weight 4.14 kg, made in Indonesia.

Spotlight on
D'Angelico is a New York brand of electric guitars that has existed since 1938. First went unnoticed because the guitars were manufactured only by hand in a very small workshop by two luthiers; it is in 2011, at a show at the New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, that D'Angelico is noticed. Since then, D'Angelico guitars have been a real success thanks to their quality of manufacture and their price.
