Dap - TA-4.1700

The DAP TA-4.1700 is a touring amplifier designed to deliver high power in a compact 1U format. Each channel can deliver up to 1,700 W into 4 ohms and support loads of up to 2 ohms, making it suitable for configurations requiring high power density.

It can also operate on 70 V lines, enabling it to be integrated into long-distance installations or hybrid systems. The package incorporates a universal SMPS power supply with active power factor correction, ensuring effective stability during power supply variations and operation over a wide range from 100 to 250 V.

The internal DSP offers a complete set of processing functions accessible via dedicated PC software. It can handle 8-band input and output equalisers, Bessel, Butterworth or Linkwitz-Riley filters, as well as RIF filters with up to 512 pulses.

Input and output delays, level matching, internal mixes and built-in limiters offer fine control over audio behaviour, essential for touring configurations. Users can also reverse phase, store internal presets and monitor system status via a network connection.

Cooling is provided by an axial fan with front-to-back flow, enabling integration into closed racks. The LCD display and rotary knob navigation simplify quick settings during installation or adjustments on site.
