Multichannel Amplifier
The WORK PULSE DRIVE 2004 is a professional four-channel amplifier designed for audio installations requiring a high power reserve and advanced digital processing. With its 4 x 500 W output at 4 ohms, integrated DSP and Ethernet control, it can efficiently power complex sound reinforcement systems whilst offering precise configuration of each channel.

Presentation
The PULSE DRIVE 2004 has been developed for system integrators and audio professionals who wish to centralise amplification and signal processing in a single unit. Its Class D architecture combines power, energy efficiency and a compact footprint, enabling four channels of amplification to be housed in a rack chassis measuring just 1U. This design facilitates both new installations and projects to modernise existing infrastructure.
With an output of 500 W into 4 ohms on each of its four channels, it is suitable for a wide range of configurations: multi-zone sound distribution, stereo systems, commercial installations, conference rooms, places of worship, auditoriums and event equipment. When the application requires more power, the channels can be coupled in bridge mode to provide two 1000 W outputs, which are particularly well-suited to subwoofers or loudspeakers requiring high power.
The integrated digital processing offers a level of customisation rarely available directly within an amplifier. Each channel features its own eight-band parametric equaliser, high-pass and low-pass filters, a compressor and a noise gate. This independence in processing allows each loudspeaker to be optimised individually, enables the balancing of multiple playback zones, and provides effective protection for the system without the need for an external processor.
The PULSE DRIVE 2004 integrates easily into a network infrastructure thanks to its software control via Ethernet and the UDP protocol. From a computer, the user can configure the DSP parameters, adjust settings in real time or carry out system maintenance – a feature that is particularly valuable in permanent installations or at sites spread across multiple locations.
To ensure trouble-free operation, WORK has also equipped this amplifier with a comprehensive set of electronic protections against overloads, short circuits, overheating and power-on or power-off noise. This design helps to protect the connected loudspeakers whilst ensuring reliable operation, even during intensive use.
