Multichannel Amplifier

The DAP TA-4.450 is a 1U, four-channel touring amplifier capable of delivering up to 450W per channel into 4 ohms, with full DSP and network control via Windows software. Lightweight and designed for high-stress configurations, it offers remarkable stability under 2 ohms, a powerful bridge mode, and advanced DSP tools (filters, EQs, delays, limiters). Its universal PFC power supply guarantees reliable operation over a wide range of input voltages.

ARTICLE N° 115359
The DAP TA-4.450 is a 1U amplifier designed for touring applications where efficiency and compactness are essential. Its four independent channels each deliver 450 W at 4 ohms, with confirmed stability at 2 ohms and a bridge mode enabling higher power to be achieved on suitable loads.

The whole system is based on a Class D architecture that ensures high efficiency, controlled heat production and a sufficient power supply for multi-channel systems.

The internal DSP covers all the common needs of mobile and fixed installations. It includes eight-band parametric input and output equalisers, high-pass and low-pass filters, RIF filters up to 512 pulses, adjustable delays, internal mixing between the four channels, as well as peak and RMS limiters.

Access to the DSP is via the network using dedicated PC software compatible with Windows 10 and 11, which also allows monitoring of the temperature, voltage and current delivered by each channel.

The power supply section uses an SMPS module with active power factor correction, guaranteeing compatibility with voltages from 100 to 240 V AC. Cooling is by forced ventilation from the front to the rear, facilitating rack integration.

The amplifier has a rigid steel chassis and an LCD display with rotary encoder navigation for local settings. The TA-4.450 is an ideal solution for service providers looking for a versatile, feature-rich amplifier that is easy to fit into a 19" rack.
